Have You Seen This Man, Wanted for Identity Theft?

Police said the man went shopping in Riverhead using someone else's debit card.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and identity theft detectives are asking for the public’s help in finding the person responsible for using a victim’s debit card to go shopping in Riverhead.

Police said on April 24, a man went into a Target, located at 1150 Old Country Road, a Walgreen’s, located on 1196 Old Country Road and a Kmart, located at 605 Old Country Road, and made several purchases using a victim’s debit card information.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned black or Hispanic male with a thin build, police said; he was wearing sunglasses, a white T-Shirt, blue jeans and white shoes.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
