Incident Report: Steaks, TV, License Plates Reported Stolen

The following information was provided from the Riverhead and Southampton Police Departments.

On March 2, a Riverside woman told police that someone removed two license plates from her 2010 Toyota vehicle while it was parked on Old Quogue Road in Riverside.

On March 6, around 10:30 a.m., a Stop and Shop employee reported that someone stole six steaks valued at just over $100.

On March 9, a Wal-Mart employee reported that a man stole a Dyson vacuum cleaner valued at $449 from the store.

A Toys R' Us employee reported on March 9 that a man stole a $350, 32-inch Coby flat screen television from the store.

A South Jamesport Avenue resident reported that on March 10, someone stole an iron boot cleaner from his or her front porch. The cleaner was reported to be valued at $200.

On March 11 around 11:30 a.m., an Office Max employee reported that two men stole $1,596 worth of merchandise from the store.

A Roanoke Avenue resident reported on March 12 that someone had broken down the front door of the home and the screen door as well, and entered the home. Property damage was estimated at $300.

A Merrit's Pond Road resident, according to police reports, was upset and refused to give a soccer ball back to her neighbor's children after it was accidentally kicked in her yard on March 12.
