Incident Reports: Foreclosed House Broken Into

Also reported to Southampton Town police, $6,775 worth of tree trimming tools stolen.

Crimes and suspicious incidents recently reported to the Southampton Town Police Department for the Riverside, Flanders and Northampton area.

Burglary

• Capital One of Riverhead reported that a Cypress Avenue house in Flanders had been broken into and a $4,000 HVAC unit was stolen and graffiti was sprayed on the house.

Larceny

• A Dix Hills contractor told police June 3 that vehicles and toolboxes locked up under powerlines crossing over County Road 51 in Northhampton were broken into. He said $6,775 worth of tree trimming tools were stolen.

• A Riverside woman told police June 2 that while her vehicle was parked on Flanders Road near her home someone took her purse, which contained $800 cash and a Citi debit card, among other belongings.
