A driver was injured after his car struck a telephone pole in Calverton Tuesday afternoon, police said.
According to Riverhead Town police, Scott Sherlock hit a Long Island Power Authority utility pole on Wading River Manor Road in Calverton on Tuesday at 12:32 p.m.
The Manorville Fire Department responded to the scene, where Sherlock had overturned his vehicle, police said. He was transported to Stony Brook University Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
