Over $5k in Theft, Damage Reported at National Grid

"Riverhead News-Review" report states two separate incidents were reported last week.

According to a report on the Riverhead News-Review, over $5,000 in damages was reported in two incidents called in on Jan. 19 at the National Grid office on Doctors Path.

The report states that 12 bundles of copper with an estimated value of about $1,000 was stolen, and later a report of cuts in a chain link fence were called in as well.

Police are reportedly investigating the incident.
