Police: 88 Cartons of Cigarettes Stolen From Gas Station

Equivalent of $7,500 in cigarettes, plus $250 cash, stolen from Hess on Old Country Road.

Riverhead Police and Suffolk County Crime Stoppers are after someone they say stole $7,500 worth of cigarettes and $250 in cash from a Riverhead Hess station in November. 

According to police, on Nov. 23, 2010 at approximately 3:45 a.m. someone broke into the gas station and stole 88 cartons of cigarettes. 

Anybody with any information on the theft or individual - pictured in the attached photos - is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. Calls will be kept confidential and offers up to a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
