Police Describe Suspects Wanted In CVS Armed Robbery

Police are asking for the public's help in catching the suspects.

Police are asking for the public's help in catching the alleged armed robbers who held up the Riverhead CVS on Jan. 14.

According to Riverhead police, on Jan. 14 at approximately 3:30 a.m., two masked men entered the CVS on Route 58 in Riverhead, one of the subjects displayng an unknown type of handgun.

Both subjects demanded money and forced an employee to remove money from the store safe. Both subjects fled the area on foot with an undetermined amount of money, police said.

Now, police have released information describing the suspects: Both subjects are described as being thin, one approximately 6’0 tall, and the other 5’9”. The taller individual was wearing a skull image mask, black hooded sweatshirt and a baseball hat, police said; the shorter individual was also wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a brown mask and a baseball hat.
