Police: Flanders Man Driving Drunk Found With Marijuana

Derek W. Knatz, 33, of Flanders, was charged with driving while intoxicated and unlawful possession of marijuana on July 12 at 8:36 p.m., after police stopped him for a traffic violation on Route 25 in Southold, Southold Town Police report. He was found to be intoxicated and was found to be in possession of marijuana. Knatz was transported to police headquarters in Peconic and processed. Knatz was held overnight for arraignment.
