Police Report: DWAI, Child Endangerment

A list of recent crime activity as reported by the Riverhead Police Department.

Marcellis Hudson, 43, of Riverhead, was arrested on Nov. 1 on charges of criminal contempt in the second degree. According to reports, Hudson had been reported to be in violation of a stay-away order. No dispute was reported, just a report of the violation. Hudson was arrested, transported to police headquarters, processed and held for arraignment.

Roger Foster, 49, of Calverton, was arrested on Nov. 5 on charges of endangering the welfare of a child and harassment in the second degree. Reports state that Foster's child, a juvenile, stated that she was engaged in a verbal altercation with her father, who became physical and punched her in the forehead. According to reports, the juvenile stated she was then pushed to the floor where Foster proceeded to choke her as she was screaming for her mother. She allegedly then broke free and called the police, while Foster left the residence. According to reports, the juvenile and her mother filled out a police report at headquarters and Foster turned himself in to police, where he was arrested, processed, and held for morning arraignment.

Ashley Kunz, 21, of Manorville, was arrested on Nov. 6 on charges of driving while ability impaired by drugs. According to police reports, Kunz was backing her car out of a space in the parking lot at Tanger Outlet Mall when she collided with a parked vehicle. She was arrested, processed, and held for arraignment.

None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed above. They are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.๏ปฟ
