Police Report: Grand Larceny, Burglary, Harassment

The following arrest information was supplied by the Riverhead Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Kyle Fischback, 20, of Manorville, was arrested on May 20 on charges of aggravated unlicensed operation in the second degree. According to a police accident report, Fischback was driving in the parking lot of Michaels on Route 58 when a car pulled out of a parking space and Fischback ran into it. Both cars were towed. Fischback was transported to headquarters and released on $100 bail.

Garland Massenburg, 47, of Flanders, was arrested on charges of harassment in the second degree on May 21. According to police reports, a female reported getting into a verbal dispute with Massenburg at the Greenview Motel during which she reported that he punched her in the head and face, causing pain and swelling. He was processed and held for arraignment.

Rolando Carvajal, 60, of Woodside, was arrested on May 21 on charges of grand larceny, obstructing governmental administration and criminal possession of an anti-security device. According to police reports, an employee of Coach Men's Outlet reported that a white male carrying several shopping bags removed several wallets from the store without paying or permission to do so. Upon a police investigation, a man matching the description was reportedly located in another store. Police said that when an officer approached Carvajal, the subject matching the description, he was trying to hide a shopping bag between a rack of suit jackets. According to police, an anti-security device was inside the bag and after going outside with police, Carvajal reportedly fled on foot. Police said they caught Carvajal, transported him to Peconic Bay Medical Center, arraigned him, and remanded him to Suffolk County Jail.

Paul Booker, 32, of Riverhead, was arrested on May 25 on charges of burglary in the second degree. According to police, someone called headquarters stating that a subject wearing a jersey with the number "34" on it was in his house, rummaging through his personal property. Reports state that en route to the location, police spotted an individual wearing a jersey with the number "34." Booker was allegedly confirmed by the caller as the individual rummaging through his property, and he was arrested, processed, and held for arraignment.
