Police Report: Petit Larceny, Criminal Possession of Marijuana

A list of recent crime activity as reported by the Riverhead Police Department.

Carlos Aebelaez, 19, of Riverhead, and a juvenile were arrested on Jan. 26 on charges of petit larceny. According to reports, an employee of KMart reported that the two had removed lubricant and two boxes of condoms, valued at $57, from the store without paying for them. Upon police arrival, the two were arrested on a civilian's complaint, transported to headquarters for processing, and released on $100 cash bail.

Lorinda Pendleton, 37, of Huntington, was arrested on Jan. 28 on petit larceny charges. Police reports state that an employee of Home Depot saw Pendleton remove batteries, a plumbing hose, and seven circuit breakers, valued at a total of $440, from the store without paying for them. Pendleton was arrested on a civilian's arrest, processed, and held for arraignment. 

Alyssa Keller, 21, of Mastic, was arrested on Jan. 28 on petit larceny charges. Reports state that Keller removed two bras, a candle, and an X Box hard drive, valued at a total of $161, from KMart without paying for them. She was arrested on a civilian's arrest, transported to police headquarters, processed, and released on $100 bail.

Bryan Musmacker, 24, of Hampton Bays, was arrested on Jan. 30 on charges of criminal possession of marijuana in the fifth degree and unlawful possesion of marijuana. He was processed and taken for arraignment.

None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed above. They are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
