Police Reports: Bar Fight, Petit Larceny

A list of recent crime activity as reported by the Riverhead Police Department.

Corey Lieblein, 30, of Southold, was arrested and charged with two counts of harassment on March 13. According to police reports, an employee at Digger O'Dells reported that Lieblein entered the restaurant in an intoxicated manner and being unruly. Upon being told to leave, Lieblein reportedly became belligerent and hit both the employee and another man with closed fists. During the disturbance all three men suffered minor injuries. Lieblein was transported to Peconic Bay Medical Center for evaluation and treatment due to swelling around his right eye. 

Allison Guertin, 30, of Flushing, was arrested on March 20 on charges of petit larceny. Reports state that Guertin was witnessed by an employee of Old Navy removing from the store four tank top shirts and a pair of sunglasses, valued at a total of $55, without paying for them. Guertin was arrested on a civilian arrest charge, transported to police headquarters, processed, and released on $200 bail. 

Garland Massenburg, 47, of Flanders, was arrested on March 23 on larceny charges. According to police reports, Massenburg was witnessed by an employee of K-Mart selecting items from the store. Police were notified and upon investigation an outstanding arrest warrant for Massenburg was found from Riverhead town. He was arrested on those charges and transported to headquarters for processing, arraigned, and remanded to Suffolk County Jail on $1,000 bail.

None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed above. They are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
