Police Respond to Three Car Accidents on Thursday

Ambulances called to a crash on Route 58.

Riverhead Town Police reported three motor vehicle accidents on Thursday -- with Riverhead Volunteer Ambulance members called to the scene of the most serious.

According to police, an accident between a motorcycle and a car occurred at the intersection of East Main Street and Route 58 at approximately 3 p.m. Riverhead Volunteer Ambulance Corp. members were called to the scene.

Police also said they were called to a minor accident outside the Long Island Aquarium & Exhibition Center on Thursday; no injuries were reported.

And later on Thursday, police responded to an accident at Griffing and Railroad Avenues. It was not immediately clear if anyone was hurt in that accident.
