Police Seeking Man Who Bought $1K Worth of Sneakers With Stolen Credit Card

Police are looking for a man who stole sneakers using a stolen credit card in May.

Local authorities are seeking the public’s help with identifying and locating a man who used a stolen credit card to purchase $1,000 worth of sneakers in Riverhead.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and the Riverhead Police Department are looking for a man who entered the Sneaker Aquarium located at 41 East Main Street and purchased five pairs of sneakers with a stolen credit card on May 23.

The suspect is described as black, approximately 6-foot-3, clean shaven with a heavy build. He was wearing dark blue pants and a light blue hospital scrub shirt at the time, with a stethoscope around his neck.
