Reward Offered for Info on Sound Avenue Mower Theft
Police are seeking information about the theft of a commercial mower, and trailer, in late May from a Sound Avenue home.
Suffolk County and Riverhead police are searching for someone who stole a commercial ride-on mower and the trailer it was on from a Sound Avenue home in late May.
According to police, an orange Bad Boy mower was on the lawn at 4654 Sound Avenue, when its owner said that it was stolen between 10:30 p.m. on May 26 and 7:30 a.m. the next day. It was reportedly on a black 2002 trailer, which was also stolen and had a license plate number of AU95649.
Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers will offer a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest, according to a statement from police
