2 Riverhead High School Students Face Felony Stolen Gun Charges
The two students and a North Carolina man were allegedly involved in stealing two handguns and a rifle as well as a Playstation and nearly $5,000 cash from a Flanders home on Dec. 11.
Two Riverhead High School students and a North Carolina man were arrested Friday in connection with the theft of three guns, a Playstation and $4,700 in cash from a Flanders residence on Dec. 9, according to Southampton Town Police.
Police arrested Trever Jackson, 17, and Edward Durham, 18, both Riverhead High School students from Flanders, on Dec. 16 following an investigation into the incident. A third man, Jaquan Lundsford-Bailey, 21, of Greensboro, North Carolina was also arrested. It is unclear how Lundsford-Bailey knew the Riverhead students.
Jackson and Durham were each charged with charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, a felony. Lundsford-Bailey was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, a felony, and two counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a misdemeanor.

Police said the case was still under investigation and would no release further details.
