Southampton Police Log: Aggravated DWI in Flanders

Police say Flanders man sideswiped an unoccupied vehicle on Riverside Avenue while he was intoxicated.

• Clyde Blount, 28, of Flanders, was charged with aggravated DWI, a misdemeanor, April 21 at 10:19 p.m. in Flanders. Police said Blount’s car overturned after the driver sideswiped an unoccupied vehicle on Riverside Avenue while he was intoxicated. Blount, according to police, refused treatment for his injuries and was subsequently taken into custody and held for arraignment the following day at .
