Southampton Police: Calverton Woman, Flanders Man Drove Drunk

Police said the woman was driving with illegal pills, and the Flanders man was driving without a license.

Arrests by Southampton Town police in Riverside and Flandersย during the week of June 10 to June 17:

Driving While Intoxicated

โ€ข Police charged Anton Borkes, 49, of Flanders, with DWI, a misdemeanor, after they pulled him over on June 15 on Montauk Highway in Southampton for failing to maintain his lane, according to an arrest report. Police said he was also driving without a license.

โ€ข Police charged Leighanne Lorusso, 49, of Calverton with DWI, a misdemeanor, on June 14 after they pulled her over while she was leaving the Hess Station on Montauk Highway in Hampton Bays. Police further charged Lorusso with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a misdemeanor, after they found that she had prescription medications without a prescription, according to the arrest report.
