Southampton Police Log: DWI Arrests
Police said they spotted a New York City man driving into oncoming traffic on Flanders Road.

• Ross McMeekin, 48, New York City, was arrested on a misdemeanor aggravated DWI charge on Saturday. According to police reports, McMeekin was seen driving into oncoming traffic while driving southeast on Flanders Road around Huntington Lane around 2:15 a.m.
• Gilberto Garcia, 25, Riverhead, was arrested on a misdemeanor DWI charge on Sunday. According to police, Garcia was seen driving down Flanders Road in Riverside, near Old Quogue Road, and driving out of his lane around 11:15 p.m.

• Gumercindo Vera, 58, of Hampton Bays, was arrested on a misdemeanor DWI charge on Saturday around 10:30 p.m. Vera was reportedly driving on Evergreen Road, near Priscilla Avenue, in Flanders when the incident occurred, and police said he performed poorly on standard field sobriety tests.
