DWAI
• Sandra Chaves, 36, was arrested on Jan. 13 on a charge of DWAI, a misdemeanor. According to reports, she was stopped for failing to maintain her lane of travel and driving on an unsafe tire on Old Quogue Road in Riverside around 9:45 p.m. Reports state she had an odor of alcoholic beverage on her breath and red glassy eyes, and she she performed poorly on field sobriety tests, and failed a prescreen device indicating she was intoxicated. She was reportedly transported to headquarters, where she submitted to a chemical test with a 0.07 percent blood alcohol content result. She was processed and released.
