Suffolk County Police Offer $5K Reward for Info on Alleged Thieves

Police are searching for two men who used a credit card in July that was stolen from a car in a Manorville community.

Suffolk County Police and Seventh Squad Detectives are offering a $5,000 reward for information about two men who used a stolen credit card at a Riverhead Walmart this past summer.

Police said unknown suspects stole a wallet containing cash and credit cards from a vehicle in the Silver Ponds community in Manorville some time between 4:30 p.m. on July 16 and 7:30 a.m. on July 17. There were "several other larcenies" from nearby vehicles around the time of the alleged theft, according to a police statement.

The two suspects were seen on surveillance video at the Walmart on Route 58 after using one of the missing credits cards the morning of July 17. Police are still searching for the two suspects.

Anyone with information about the alleged thefts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential and police will offer a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest, according to the police statement.
