Town Police Log: Drug Arrest, Grand Larceny

Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance
Anthony Francis, 28, of Riverhead was arrested July 22 and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police said they arrested Francis on a previous warrant after responding to a harassment call. Once at police headquarters, Francis reportedly was discovered to be in possession of crack cocaine. He was processed and held for arraignment.

Grand Larceny
An unknown man in his late 20s and woman in her late 40s reportedly stole $3,750 worth of dress shirts from Ann Taylor Loft at Tanger Outlet Center on July 27. Police said the incident was captured on surveillance cameras within the store and are still investigating the alleged crime.
