Town Police Log: 2 Charged With Breaking Into Cars

• Adam Blydenburgh, 20, of Riverhead, and co-defendant John Bailey, 19, of Flanders, were both arrested May 6 at 11:30 p.m. on Flanders Road on charges of grand larceny in the fourth degree, a class-E felony, and conspiracy in the fifth degree, a misdemeanor. Police said the charges stemmed from break-ins into vehicles in the neighborhoods of Quogue and East Quogue on April 7 in which GPS units, cellphones and laptop computers were stolen, police said. The two were arraigned in on May 7.

• Ilyse LaBue, 33, of Flanders, was arrested on a felony charge of driving while intoxicated in Hampton Bays after police stopped her on Ponquogue Avenue May 2 at 7:53 p.m. Police said LaBue was involved in a minor vehicular accident and when officers responded to the scene. LaBue, they said, showed obvious signs of intoxication. LaBue was additionally charged with endangering the welfare of a child, a result of driving under the influence of alcohol with a minor child in the vehicle in accordance with Leandra's Law. Police reported that the child in the car was 2 years old.
