Town Police Log: Criminal Mischief, Drug Arrest

Criminal Mischief
Osmarlin Contreras, 34, of Flanders was arrested Wednesday, July 13 at 7:01 a.m. on Reeves Bay Trail in Flanders and charged with third-degree criminal mischief, a felony, second-degree reckless endangerment, a misdemeanor, and second-degree harassment, a violation. Police said they found out that Contreras had a fight with his neighbor and threw five bricks at his car while he was in it.

Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs
Ashley Reardon, 19, of Flanders was arrested Saturday at 4:38 p.m. at the corner of Pleasure Drive and Flanders Road in Flanders and charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs and fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana, both misdemeanors. Reardon was reportedly stopped for not wearing her seatbelt when police said they saw that she had marijuana. They added that she also admitted to smoking it.

DWI
Robert Beaver, 33, of Riverhead was arrested Sunday at 2:24 a.m. on County Road 104 in Flanders and charged with DWI, a misdemeanor. Beaver was reportedly in a minor accident with no injuries when police said they found him driving intoxicated.
Resisting Arrest
A Riverhead minor was arrested Monday, July 11 at 12:40 a.m. on Pebble Way in Riverside and charged with resisting arrest and second-degree obstructing government administration, both misdemeanors, and second-degree harassment, a violation. Police said that the minor shoved her girlfriend during a dispute and put up a fight when officers tried to arrest her.
