Town Police Log: Man Damaged Car, Found with PCP

The following information was supplied by the Southampton Town Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation and does not indicate guilt.

Criminal Mischief

Jamal Langhorne, 25, of Riverhead was arrested Friday at 8:50 a.m. at the corner of Flanders Road and Flanders Boulevard in Flanders and charged with third-degree criminal mischief, a felony, and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. Langhorne allegedly caused $500 worth of damage to a car and was also found with PCP, according to police reports.

DWI

Bayron Leon, 22, of Riverside was arrested on July 23 at 1:11 a.m. on Flanders Road in Flanders and charged with DWI, a misdemeanor. Police said they pulled Leon over for driving out of lane.

Erwin Coronado, 21, of Hampton Bays, was arrested on July 24 and charged with DWI. Police said Coronado was stopped for a traffic infraction at 12 a.m. on Royal Avenue in Flanders and was found to be operating his vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. He was transported to police headquarters for processing and held for arraignment.

Criminal Trespassing

Michael Ferraro, 63, of Riverhead was arrested on July 19 at 2:26 p.m. at MacLeod Communities on County Road 104 in Riverside and charged with second-degree criminal trespassing, a misdemeanor, and second-degree harassment, a violation. Police said Ferraro slapped a phone across an administrative assistant’s desk, told her he was going to punch her in the face, and walked into a part of the building marked “employees only.”

Growing Cannabis

Henry Mills, 54, of Riverside was arrested on July 20 at 10:28 p.m. on Lake Avenue in Riverside and charged with growing cannabis without a license, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation. Police said they found cannabis growing in 20 clay pots in his home.

Criminal Contempt

Wladyslawa Dolinska, 68, of Riverhead was arrested Wednesday, July 13 at 3:30 p.m. on Nidzyn Avenue in Remsenburg and charged with second-degree criminal contempt, a misdemeanor. Police said Dolinska, a housekeeper, violated an order of protection by going to a home on Nidzyn Avenue and dumping garbage on the property.
