Two Men Charged With DWI In Riverhead Early Saturday

Police said both charges were misdemeanors.

Two men were arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated early Saturday morning in Riverhead.

Ceferino Ortiz, 24, of Flanders was arrested on Peconic Avenue in Riverhead at 1:30 a.m. and charged with misdemeanor DWI, police said.

Next, Jersmias Velasquez, 31, of Riverhead was arrested on Sweezy Avenue at 2 a.m. and charged with misdemeanor DWI and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a felony, according to police.

Automatic JAIL time no lawyers no second chances.. take ALL cars away red flag all DMV and Ins companies in the U.S.A. so they will never drive again, If they are caught drivng someone elses car then THAT car will be taken away... Unlicensed operation, too much Corona, time to call ICE! But Riverhead is a Sanctuary for criminals and the Town would rather have Downtown turn into Juarez before enforcing the law!
