Two Nabbed With Crack Cocaine at Big Duck

The pair were charged on Friday night.

New York State Police said they have charged a pair of Riverhead residents after they caught them with crack cocaine at the Big Duck in Flanders.

According to police, while patrolling State Route 24 in the area of the Big Duck, they noticed a woman acting suspiciously and pulled over to investigate.

Police said after questioning the 48-year-old woman, they found that she had several items that contained cocaine residue while her counterpart, a 57-year-old male had a felony weight of crack cocaine.

Both Rosemary Brown and Michael Lerhinan were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree, a misdemeanor, as well as criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 3rd and 5th degrees, both felonies.

Police said both were arraigned at Southampton Town Justice Court and remanded to the Suffolk County Jail in lieu of bail.
