Wading River Man Accused of Sexual Assault

Arrested at his job at Darkside Haunted Mansion.

A Wading River man stands accused of a criminal sex act in the first degree following his arrest on Saturday and arraignment Monday morning.

According to police reports, Dominick Ball, 28, of Wading River, was taken into police custody at 5:26 p.m. on Saturday when he arrived for work at Darkside Haunted Mansion in Wading River. After repeated calls to the business owner went unanswered it remains unclear if Ball is still employed there.

Police reports state a white female reported being forced to give Ball oral sex at approximately 12:30 a.m. on  Oct. 3.

Following an investigation, said Sgt. Joseph Loggia of the Riverhead Police Department, Ball was arrested three weeks after the original incident. He was arraigned on Monday, released on $5,000 bail, and will next appear in court on Nov. 23.
