Riverhead Patch has asked all the candidates for Town Assessor, Town Board and Supervisor to write up five reasons why they deserve your vote next Tuesday, Nov. 8. Here is what Evan Philcox, a Democratic challenger candidate for Town Assesor, wants you to know:
- Competent: New York State certified math and English teacher with a Master's degree.
- Independent: A fresh alternative to the current single-party control of the assessor's office.
- Virtuous: Dedicating 10% of his salary to future athletic facilities and/or renewable energy projects in the Town of Riverhead.
- Invested: Resident and homeowner in Wading River.
- Leader: Coaches lacrosse and soccer for the Riverhead Blue Waves
