5 Reasons Paul Leszczynski Deserves Your Vote for Assessor

Incumbent Assessor, running on Republican line, makes his pitch to the Riverhead electorate.

Riverhead Patch has asked all the candidates for Town Assessor, Town Board and Supervisor to write up five reasons why they deserve your vote next Tuesday, Nov. 8. Here is what incumbent Assesor Paul Leszczynski, running on the Republican line, wants you to know:

  1. I am a lifelong Riverhead resident (61 years). I know my Town like the back of my hand. From Wading River to Northville to Laurel to Manorville and everything in between.
  2. I have taken many NYS ORPS classes to obtain a NYS Certification of NYS Certified Assessor, Advanced. And continue to take CE Courses to keep up with all the changes in Legislation with regard to my job.
  3. I have over 30 years of experience in the real estate field. With knowledge of deeds, tax maps, surveys and appraisals, etc.
  4. I have 13 years of practical experience, on the job, doing the job as your assessor.
  5. Our office has saved the taxpayers of Riverhead over $375,000 in the last three years by performing our own property appraisals in house.
