A forum on Friday night meant to inform locals about a new immigration policy that gives undocumented youths relief from deportation was sparsely attended, with some two dozen attendees and no more than a handful of individuals that the policy could assist.
The thin crowd at the forum, organized by U.S. Rep. Tim Bishop, could have reflected a fear among undocumented residents to come forward.
