Seasonal Flu Immunization Clinic

The Riverhead Free Library will be a host site for a Seasonal Flu Immunization Clinic on Monday, November 21, 2011 from 10 am-1 pm.  The vaccine will be administered by the Suffolk County Department of Health Services to individuals 18 and older.

No fee will be charged from those participants with Medicare B non-managed care (no Medicare Advantage plans) for the influenza and pneumococcal vaccinations as Medicare will be billed for the service.  In addition, participants with participating insurances may obtain the vaccine with no fees as those entities will be billed.  For a list of the insurances accepted, please phone the Library.

All others will be charged $38.00 for the influenza vaccine and $75.00 for the pneumococcal vaccine, payable by check or money order to "SCDHS".  No cash will be accepted.  High Dose Senior Influenza immunization will also be available at a cost of $55.00.
