With town supervisor and council spots available, it will be another busy election season for Riverhead. How closely are you following the action?

This November voters will choose Riverhead's town supervisor, Town Board members, town assessor and more. With just a few weeks left until the polls open on Nov. 8, election season has officially begun.

The of the season, featuring incumbent Sean Walter, former-supervisor Phil Cardinale, and third-party candidate Greg Fischer, took place Wednesday night. The debate covered topics from the to development at the Enterprise Park at Calverton.

Candidates for town supervisor and town council also recently filed their  to the State Board of Elections, and are expected to begin ramping up their election campaigns as Election Day draws near.
