Nov. 11: Veterans' Day
Take a look at what's going on around Riverhead this Thursday.
1. Members of the Riverhead American Legion, VFW, and Amvets will participate in an annual at the corners of Court Street and Main Street at 11:00 this morning. Following the ceremony, the public is invited back to the American Legion hall at Hubbard Avenue.
2. Because of today's holiday, the Town Board will not hold its work session today. Check back for a Town Hall Notes on a work session held yesterday, and read to see what tomorrow's special work session is concerning. We'll give you one guess.
3. Vail-Leavitt Music Hall will host its tonight at 7:00. Tonight, Lauren Peyton of Manorville, and MaryAngela Benthal of Jamesport will perform with Hope Andrejack of Cutchogue. Tickets are $5 in advance, or $6 at the door.
