Romney, the former Republican governor of Massachusetts, is expected to make his candidacy for president official on Thursday.

Mitt Romney, the former Massachusetts governor who made a bid for the Republican nod for president in 2008, is expected to officially announce his candidacy today in New Hampshire.

Arizona Senator John McCain took the Republican nomination in 2008. As of now, the field remains open with over a dozen other potential candidates, including fellow former governor Tim Pawlenty and  Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann, both from Minnesota; Sarah Palin, former governor of Alaska; former speaker of the House Newt Gingrich; businessman Herman Cain; and a list of others.

Today's question focuses on Romney. What do you think about him? Would be make for a good candidate for president? How do you think he would fare against President Barack Obama?
