Register Now: Riverhead Winter Programs

Walk-in registration starts Tuesday, online and phone registration begins Wednesday.

The Town of Riverhead's Parks and Recreation Department has announced that registration for its winter 2014 programs is now open. 

According to the parks department, walk-in registration will be accepted at its Stotzky Park Recreation office, 55 Columbus Avenue in Riverhead, starting Tuesday with phone and online registration for customers who already have an established family account opening Wednesday.

The winter brochure, which was sent to residents last week is chock-full of programs for various fees, including dance classes, yoga sessions, paper crafting, painting, pickle ball, which a combination of badminton, table tennis and tennis; and volleyball for adults.

Children can be signed-up for dancing and singing classes, Tae Kwon Do, lacrosse, soccer, and arts and crafts. 

The brochure also features special free events and bus trips including a mother/son dance, a murder mystery lunch and trip to see Rock of Ages.
