Sound Avenue Processing, Shipping Site Questioned by Neighbor

One neighbor has filed an appeal with the Zoning Board of Appeals, stating that the former Blackman building is unfit for an agricultural processing center, according to the 'Riverhead News-Review.'

A neighboring business owner has filed a motion with the Zoning Board of Appeals, stating that plans to open a food distribution and processing center at the vacant Blackman building on Sound Avenue are not an allowable use, according to the Riverhead News-Review.

According to the News-Review, Austin Warner of Warner Nursery filed an appeal, stating that "There is no basis for ‘agricultural processing’" at the site.
