Special Holiday Schedule for Riverhead Town Board
A Fourth of July celebration will take place on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m., with fireworks at 9:15 p.m.
In light of the Fourth of July holiday, a work session of the Riverhead Town board will take place at a different time this week -- on Monday at 1 p.m.
No town board work session will be held at the usual time on Thursday. A town board meeting will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m.
In addition, holiday festivities will unfold at the Peconic Riverfront in downtown Riverhead on Tuesday, beginning at 6:30 p.m., with performances by Misspent Youth and Johnny Zarrow. Fireworks are slated to begin at 9:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
