Town Swearing In Ceremony Set for New Year's Day

Incumbent Supervisor Sean Walter will be sworn in for another term.

The new year means a new term for Riverhead Town elected officials.

The inauguration of Riverhead Town’s newly elected officials will take place at the Pulaski Street Elementary School, located at 300 Pulaski Street, on New Year's Day at noon.

Those being sworn in include incumbents Town Supervisor Sean M. Walter, Councilman John Dunleavy, Councilwoman Jodi Giglio, Town Assessor Laverne Tennenberg, and Highway Superintendent George “Gio” Woodson, as well as new New York State Assemblyman Anthony Palumbo.
