Town to Hold Gun Hunting Lottery Monday Night
The lottery will be held at Town Hall at 7 p.m.
Riverhead Town will host its annual gun hunting lottery Monday night at 7 p.m. at Town Hall.
Hunters will be entered into a lottery and as their names are called, will be able to lock in a date for hunting on town-owned properties at Enterprise Park at Calverton and on Sound Avenue.
The hunting season runs from Jan. 1 through 31.
Hunters wishing to participate in the lottery must bring proof that they reside in Riverhead Town or own property in Riverhead, as well as a hunting license. There is no fee for the lottery.
