After years of standing abandoned, new life could soon be breathed into the Long Island railroad building, located at the Long Island Rail Road train station in Riverhead.
The ; prospective tenants are invited to come tour the site at noon on Friday. A ten-year lease is being offered for the property.
Riverhead Town Supervisor Sean Walter said he would like to see a "tourist-related" entity set up shop in the building and is hoping possible business owners who step forward bring some "great ideas" to the table.
What would you like to see open up at the building at the train station? What business do you think would be appropriate at the gateway to Riverhead, welcoming visitors who travel to area from New York City and other destinations?
