Put your party affiliation aside for a second and consider these following questions:
- Would you vote for an incumbent Congressman (Tim Bishop) who has repeatedly voted to increase taxes, spending and debt by trillions of dollars?
- Would you vote for an incumbent Congressman (Tim Bishop) who has been in Washington for ten years while the number of unemployed Long Islanders has risen by over 40,000?
- Would you vote for an incumbent Congressman (Tim Bishop) who was a leading proponent of Obamacare and slashing Medicare by more than $700 billion?
- Would you vote for an incumbent Congressman (Tim Bishop) who was recently named 1 of the 12 most corrupt politicians in Washington by an independent watchdog group?
After nearly a decade in Washington, it’s clear that Tim Bishop has failed to make things better for Long Island’s families and businesses, and for the country as a whole.
His record of higher taxes, record unemployment and big government is bad enough to warrant a change. But, the fact that he has abused his power and the system to line his pockets, at the expense of struggling Long Islanders is inexcusable and disgraceful.
It’s time for a new direction in Suffolk County.
I am running to use my experience in the business word to clean up the mess in Washington, restore fiscal responsibility and fix the economy. That’s why I am proposing a specific, 10-point plan for Long Island that will create local jobs, boost small businesses and grow our economy. You can read all the details at www.LIJobsPlan.com.
While a desperate Tim Bishop dishonestly attacks my record in business, the truth is that even President Obama’s Administration has praised my company, CloudBlue, for creating hundreds of American green jobs.
Career politicians in both parties, like Tim Bishop, have created the economic and fiscal problems we’re facing today. Why would we ever trust them to solve them? It doesn’t make any sense.
As a self-made businessman who came from modest roots to build two companies from the ground up and create 1,000 American jobs, I know how to get things done. With your vote on November 6th, I will work across party lines to move Long Island and our country forward into a brighter future.
