East End Arts Accepting Applications for Vocalist Fellowship

2012 Music Masters Fellowship begins Feb. 6 of next year; students will train with and be mentored by Lauren Kinhan.

has opened up the submission process for every junior and senior high school student in all five East End towns to earn a spot in its 2012 Music Masters Fellowship.

This year's fellows will earn the chance to be part of a vocal choir taught and mentored by Lauren Kinhan, a singer/songwriter who has performed with the Grammy Award-winning New York Voices, and most recently released her second solo album.

Kinhan will give the students training in rehearsal and performance, as well as composing music, writing it and recording it. Throughout the process, students will add to their own portfolio of music composition as a process.
