Peconic Land Trust's "Creating a Seasons Table for Children"

Families with young children are invited to this workshop, sponsored by the Peconic Land Trust at their Agricultural Center at Charnews Farm.  Program includes a nature walk to The Child's Garden Preschool nearby for a nature based story time.  During the walk forage for natural materials and experience the beauty of the seasons as we find special gifts of nature for our "seasons table." Workshop begins with the creation of the foraging container to be used during the walk, then a stop at the preschool for the story time, and a return walk to the Agricultural Center.  Program is suited for ages 2-6 with parent/caregiver. Limited space, registration required. Rain cancels.
