Homecoming Celebration Set For Saturday at Riverhead High School

Students have been celebrating all week.

Spirits are high at where students have been enjoying a full slate of fun activities all week long and gearing up for Saturday's homecoming events.

"Our high school students are fully immersed in celebrating homecoming week and in planning for Saturday’s parade and game," Nancy Carney, Riverhead Central School District Superintendent said this week. "The spirit throughout the building is one of excitement and pride. We are all looking forward to a terrific day on Saturday."

To kick off the festivities, two pep rallies will be held on Friday, Spirit Day. The first, for freshmen and sophomores, will be held from 12:35 p.m. to 1:15 p.m in the gymnasium; the second, for juniors and seniors, will be held from 1:18 p.m. to 1:59 p.m. in the gym.
