Nov. 17: Eggs, a Dance, and Town Hall

Take a look at what's going on around Riverhead this Thursday.

1. Start your day off with some local knowledge and rush on over to the Polish Hall if it isn't too late for . At 8:00 this morning, members of the local business community will listen to representatives of Suffolk County National Bank and Bridgehampton National Bank speak about the impacts of the Financial Reform Act.

2. North Fork Promotion Council is celebrating its at its annual gala tonight at Jason's Vineyard. Honorees this year are Dr. Herodotus Damianos of Pindar and Duck Walk Vineyards, and Suffolk County Legislator Edward Romaine. The gala starts at 7:00, and tickets are $90 for one ticket or $150 for two.

3. The Town Board is meeting this morning at 9:30 for its final before the budget is due, on Nov. 20. In addition, the Planning Board meets at 3:00 and Zoning Board of Appeals at 7:15 this evening.

4. Students at Pulaski Street School are invited to the this evening from 6:00 to 8:00.
