Nov. 20: Live Music, Fund Raisers and a Walk for the Birds

Take a look at what's going on around Riverhead this Saturday.

1. Take a hike this morning, if you're up early enough, over at on Sound Avenue. Mary Laura Lamont is leading a group on a at 9:00. Reservations are required, so if you haven't called in advance make sure to give them a ring before you drop by.

2. If you'd rather stay indoors, try the , held at United Methodist Church this morning from 10:00 - noon. An auction, bake sale, and homemade goods for sale are a few of the things that will be on display at the E Main Street church.

3. Musician is performing this evening at the Jamesport Meeting House. Starting at 7:00, the multi-talented Cruso, who plays flute, guitar, and the hammered dulcimer, will play to benefit the Jamesport Meeting House Preservation Trust, a non-profit aimed at maintaining and keeping the building, built circa 1731, in the hands of the community.

4. St. Isidore's Roman Catholic School is hosting an auction this evening. At 6:00, the will begin to benefit the school. Admission is $15 for one ticket, or $25 for two.
