Feel like searching for some treasures -- and helping Riverhead teens realize their dreams at the same time?
Riverhead High School teens who participate in the chamber choir, school orchestra, and jazz band are hosting a huge indoor yard sale on Saturday that will help them raise funds to pay for an upcoming trip to Disney World, from April 11 through 14.
According to mom Sherry Carroll, each student that plans to go on the trip needs to raise approximately $1000, in order to be able to attend.
The Saturday fundraiser, which will take place in the high school cafeteria, will run from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.; approximately 60 students will participate and bring items for sale.
Anyone who wishes to donate to help the students can also contact the school's music department.
