“Part of our mission is to give back to the community,” says Justin Schwartz, co-founder of Competitive Events Group. “We wanted to create an event that promotes health and wellness. What better place to do that than the Boy Scouts of America camp in Wading River?”

“I was inspired to create Competitive Events Group to provide better youth programs and encourage youth participation,” says Schwartz. “There are very few triathlons for kids. We wanted to create an event to give kids a fun, memorable, experience.”

Festivities will be held following the event on Sunday, including an awards ceremony where every child will be awarded both a medal and a t-shirt.

This 2 day event requires many volunteers and community participation. If you are interested in helping out please contact Competitive Events Group at 631-957-9700 or by email Volunteers@CompetitiveEvents.com. We always appreciate spectators too…feel free to come down to the race site or along the course and cheer these athletes on.
