Golf Tournament to Benefit Veterans’ Groups

 Long Island Fore Veterans is the  sponsor of the 2011 Team Jesse Golf Tournament to be held on Monday, Sept. 12, at Cherry Creek Golf Course in Riverhead.  Event proceeds will benefit the Veterans Support Fund and the Team Jesse Foundation. This organization provides education and support for families of fallen soldiers.  Teachers Federal Credit Union invites golfers to help make the  golf outing a fund-raising success.  Registration/Tee-off is at 10 a.m., with cocktails and dinner starting at 3 p.m. The fee for golf, cocktails and dinner is $200 per person ($180 for veterans).  For cocktails and dinner only, the fee is $75 per person.
